Gouda, next to Anglo-Saxon cheddar, is the best known cheese brand in the world. In fact more than 90 percent of this type cheeses has unfortunately little in common with real Gouda.
Grand Gouda from Radzyn Podlaski comes back to the old traditions. After inoculation of the relevant bacteria, fresh cheese curd is immersed for a few days in saline and then for four weeks for final maturation. Attentive care, turning drums of cheese, rubbing and massaging contribute to a uniform evaporation of the water which naturaly produce a hard crust.
As a effect we get delicate taste, harmonizing with both simple and sophisticated additives. Green and black olives, cucumber, mild sausage and walnuts or hazelnuts are just a few suggestions of flavors that perfectly partner this unique Grand Gouda.
